    Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun, and the third-largest and fourth most massive planet in the Solar System. It is named after the ancient Greek deity of the sky Uranus.
Though it is visible to the naked eye like the five classical planets, it was never recognized as a planet by ancient observers because of its dimness and slow orbit. Sir William Herschel announced its discovery on March 13, 1781, expanding the known boundaries of the Solar System for the first time in modern history. Uranus was also the first planet discovered with a telescope.
Uranus is similar in composition to Neptune, and both are composed of different elements from those of the larger gas giants Jupiter and Saturn. As such, astronomers sometimes place them in a separate category, the "ice giants". Uranus's atmosphere, while similar to Jupiter and Saturn's in its primary composition of hydrogen and helium, contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia and methane, along with traces of hydrocarbons. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of –224 °C. It has a complex, layered cloud structure. In contrast the interior of Uranus is mainly composed of ices and rock.
Like the other giant planets, Uranus has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons. The Uranian system has a unique configuration among the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways. Seen from Earth, Uranus's rings can sometimes appear to circle the planet like an archery target and its moons revolve around it like the hands of a clock.

    Space Exploration
On April 12 every year the Russian people celebrate Cosmonautics Day in commemoration of the first space flight in the world which was made by Russian citizen. Here are three main dates in the history of space exploration.
October 4 in 1957 the Soviet Union sends the first sputnik in the world into space.
April 12 in 1961 the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin goes into space and makes one orbit round the Earth in his spaceship Vostok-1.
July 21 in 1969 the American astronauts Armstrong and Alidrin land on the Moon.
Since Yuri Gagarin’s flight, Russian space science and engineering have come a long way. According to space experts in the US and Europe Russian takes the lead in almost all space exploration. Russian has launched more than 2300 space vehicles designed to perform a variety of functions. Unmanned satellites have been of great significance in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space. They help us learn more about the relations between processes occurring on the sun and near the earth and study the structure of the upper atmosphere. These satellites are provided with scientific equipment for space navigation of civil aviation and ship, as well as exploration of the World Ocean, the earth’s surface and it’s natural resources.
Russia is known to carry out many orbital manned flights involving over 80 cosmonauts, many of them having flown several times. It is well known that Russian cosmonauts hold the record for the longest time in space (L. Kizim has worked 375 days) and for continuous stay in space (V. Titov and M. Manarov – 365 days). When the 170 million horse power carrier-rocket called “Energia” was successfully tasted in 1987, Russian has gone far ahead of the United States in the space competition. Russian experts believe “Energia” to be able to take explorers to the Moon or bring back to the Earth satellites that went out of operation.

    Jupiter
Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet within the Solar System. It is a gas giant with a mass slightly less than one-thousandth of the Sun but is two and a half times the mass of all the other planets in our Solar System combined. Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Together, these four planets are sometimes referred to as the Jovian planets.
The planet was known by astronomers of ancient times and was associated with the mythology and religious beliefs of many cultures. The Romans named the planet after the Roman god Jupiter. When viewed from Earth, Jupiter on average is the third-brightest object in the night sky after the Moon and Venus.
Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen with a quarter of its mass being helium; it may also have a rocky core of heavier elements. The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. A prominent result is the Great Red Spot, a giant storm that is known to have existed since at least the 17th century when it was first seen by telescope. Surrounding the planet is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. There are also at least 63 moons, including the four large moons called the Galilean moons that were first discovered by Galileo Galilei in 1610. Ganymede, the largest of these moons, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Mercury, among others are Europa, and Callisto.
Jupiter has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Voyager flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter. The most recent probe to visit Jupiter was the Pluto-bound New Horizons spacecraft in late February 2007.
Jupiter has the largest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, spanning over 5000 km in altitude. As Jupiter has no surface, the base of its atmosphere is usually considered to be the point at which atmospheric pressure is equal to 10 bars, or ten times surface pressure on Earth. Jupiter is perpetually covered with clouds composed of ammonia crystals. The orange and brown coloration in the clouds of Jupiter are caused by upwelling compounds that change color when they are exposed to ultraviolet light from the Sun.

    Earth
Earth is the third planet from the Sun, and the densest and fifth-largest of the eight planets in the Solar System. It is also the largest of the Solar System's four terrestrial planets. It is sometimes referred to as the Blue Planet, or by its Latin name, Terra.
Home to millions of species including humans, Earth is currently the only place in the universe where life is known to exist. The planet formed 4.54 billion years ago, and life appeared on its surface within a billion years. Since then, Earth's biosphere has significantly altered the atmosphere and other abiotic conditions on the planet, enabling the proliferation of aerobic organisms as well as the formation of the ozone layer which, together with Earth's magnetic field, blocks harmful solar radiation, permitting life on land. The physical properties of the Earth, as well as its geological history and orbit, have allowed life to persist during this period.
Earth's outer surface is divided into several rigid segments, or tectonic plates, that gradually migrate across the surface over periods of many millions of years. About 71% of the surface is covered with salt water oceans, the remainder consisting of continents and islands which together have many lakes and other sources of water contributing to the hydrosphere. Liquid water, necessary for all known life, is not known to exist on any other planet's surface. Earth's poles are mostly covered with solid ice (Antarctic ice sheet) or sea ice (Arctic ice cap). The planet's interior remains active, with a thick layer of relatively solid mantle, a liquid outer core that generates a magnetic field, and a solid iron inner core.
Earth interacts with other objects in space, especially the Sun and the Moon. At present, Earth orbits the Sun once for every roughly 366.26 times it rotates about its axis. This is a sidereal year, which is equal to 365.26 solar days. The Earth's axis of rotation is tilted 23.4° away from the perpendicular to its orbital plane, producing seasonal variations on the planet's surface with a period of one tropical year (365.24 solar days).
Earth's only known natural satellite, the Moon, which began orbiting it about 4.53 billion years ago, provides ocean tides, stabilizes the axial tilt and gradually slows the planet's rotation.
Both the mineral resources of the planet, as well as the products of the biosphere, contribute resources that are used to support a global human population. These inhabitants are grouped into about 200 independent sovereign states, which interact through diplomacy, travel, trade, and military action. Human cultures have developed many views of the planet, including personification as a deity, a belief in a flat Earth or in Earth as the center of the universe, and a modern perspective of the world as an integrated environment that requires stewardship.

THE HUMAN BRAIN IN SPACE: EUPHORIA AND THE “OVERVIEW EFFECT” EXPERIENCED BY ASTRONAUTS
Could be the best example yet of being “spaced out”? When in space, astronauts have repeatedly reported inexplicable euphoria, a “cosmic connection” or an increased sensitivity to their place in the Universe. The experience sounds like the ultimate high, or the ultimate enlightening; it would appear that without trying, astronauts are able to attain a similar mental state as meditating Buddhist monks. So what is happening when the human body is in space? Does zero-gravity create new connections in the brain? Or is it a natural human response to the vastness of space and realizing just how small we are in comparison? What ever the reason, it looks like even when astronauts are back on solid ground, they have changed profoundly…
On March 6th, 1969, Rusty Schweikart experienced a feeling that the whole universe was profoundly connected. At the time, he was on a postponed space walk outside his Apollo 9 Lunar Module, carrying out tests for the forthcoming Moon landings. Already having suffered from space sickness (hence delaying the EVA) he felt a euphoric sensation:
“When you go around the Earth in an hour and a half, you begin to recognize that your identity is with that whole thing. That makes a change… it comes through to you so powerfully that you’re the sensing element for Man.” – Russell “Rusty” Schweikart.
Two years later, Apollo 14 astronaut, Edgar Mitchell (joint record holder with Alan Shepard for longest ever Moon walk of 9 hours and 17 minutes) reported experiencing an “Overview Effect”. He described the sensation gave him a profound sense of connectedness, with a feeling of bliss and timelessness. He was overwhelmed by the experience. He became profoundly aware that each and every atom in the Universe was connected in some way, and on seeing Earth from space he had an understanding that all the humans, animals and systems were a part of the same thing, a synergistic whole. It was an interconnected euphoria.
Schweikart and Mitchell’s experiences are not isolated anomalies, many other astronauts since the 1970’s have reported this Overview Effect. Andy Newberg, a neuroscientist/physician with experience in space medicine, hopes to find out whether this is an actual psychological phenomenon. Perhaps there is a medical reason for an actual change in an astronaut’s brain function when in space. What’s more, he’s noticed a psychological change in the men and women that have come back from space:
“You can often tell when you're with someone who has flown in space, its palpable.” – Andy Newberg
Newberg has scanned many brains to try to understand how humans reach this euphoric state on Earth. The religious communities, transcendental mediators and others around the world are able to experience similar states and have been the focus of interest to neuroscientists. In some cases, the meditation leads some people to view the whole cosmos as an interconnected quantum web, where consciousness is not separate, but a part of the Universe. Now Newberg hopes to monitor the brain of one of the first space tourists so a better grasp of the brain function of a human in zero-G can be understood.
Edgar Mitchell has said that his personal event has changed his life, revealing a Universe that had remained hidden until he experienced the Overview Effect on that Apollo 14 mission in 1971. Whether this effect is a physical change in the brain, or a deeper, yet to be discovered event, Newberg hopes to find some answers.

Air Canada flight finds stranded Australian yacht
They were ready to land in Australia, at the end of a 14-hour international flight, when the 270 passengers of an Air Canada flight were suddenly thrown into a high-seas search-and-rescue operation.
Flight AC033 diverted after pilot Andrew Robertson got a call from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority on Tuesday to help search for a yachtsman who had sailed from Sydney two weeks earlier.
"If we have the fuel, could we investigate an emergency beacon that had just gone off," came the question from maritime officials, Robertson told CNN Canadian affiliate CBC News.
Down below, Glenn Ey of Queensland, Australia, was being tossed about in his crippled 36-foot yacht -- out of fuel and with a broken mast after a storm.
"I thought I had a very good chance of getting back to Sydney without assistance," Ey said after nine days adrift. "I couldn't see any evidence of Sydney, and I had no idea of my exact position, and it was at that point I set off the emergency position indicator radio beacon."
The search began as the Boeing 777, on its way from Vancouver, dropped from 37,000 feet to 4,000 feet. Robertson asked the passengers and crew to train their eyes on the choppy waters below.
"I think everyone's heart started beating a little bit faster," said Jill Barber, a Canadian singer, who was making the trip to Sydney for a concert. "They said ... we'd really appreciate it if everyone could look out their windows, and if anyone has any binoculars that could help us identify this yacht, that would be really helpful."
It didn't take too long to find Ey as passengers and crew scanned the waters below.
"We're doing this big sweeping right turn and almost immediately they said, 'Oh, we see something,' " Robertson said. "We were totally ecstatic."
Total from time from activation of the emergency beacon until he was found by the Air Canada flight: about 25 minutes.
"You know, we cheered and we applauded and I think we all kind of felt a sense of pride," Barber said.
A merchant vessel helped the yacht until the New South Wales water police arrived from Sydney late Wednesday, about 270 nautical miles off the coast.

As a photographer to start a business successfully
You are a creative person, you like to photograph, with photographic equipment on " you " also came to understanding that you want to earn on it? We offer a few tips to help you start a business in this industry.
    1.Stand out!
How to stand out against the background of numerous offers and ads, which are filled with all social networks and various Bulletin boards, among advertising themselves with all sorts of discounts and promotions of photographers and companies offering a decent high-quality product? The answer is very simple-the price! If your offer will be beneficial to differ in price category, then you will definitely pay attention, at least out of curiosity. Setting the cost of their services just below the market is absolutely normal practice for novice photographers, especially in regions where the desire to save can be a decisive factor when choosing a specialist. To increase the amount you can always later, gaining a certain base of customers and when you will work on your own advertising, which we will touch a little later and the famous word of mouth, and it, with the faithful execution of work is inevitable, believe me.
There is another important point regarding the point of formation of the cost of services - the price should always be fixed. If suddenly it became clear when communicating with the client that he does not save and want to hit the jackpot, do not overstate the price for him once. There is a possibility that he will know about it and he will at least understand why you call for him the price is higher than for others. And if this happens before the transaction, it may not take place, and if after the transaction, the person will remain sediment, why do you? It is better to make a flexible system of prices, for example, make a discount on photo services, if the client orders a large volume - 7 or more hours of shooting. Be always honest.
    2. Be precise.
It is also necessary to" fix " and the result of your service. The client must understand exactly what he will receive. Set a certain number of photos per hour of shooting, type of photo processing, whether it is color correction or retouching. Be sure to talk with the client all these points, even if he did not ask you about it, it will emphasize your interest in it and eliminate any possible misunderstanding. Always follow this rule, even if you get more photos than you promised, give the amount that you voiced in the consultation. If the client to give more than was promised, more often he does not appreciate it, unfortunately it shows practice. This fact is often taken for granted, and sometimes raises additional questions that you can bring an extra headache. Plus there is a possibility that other customers will also learn about it and will consider themselves deprived. Or you will fall into a trap in which you will always have to give more than promised, and the extra work is absolutely useless. If you want to surprise customers, it is better to give the result a little earlier than promised, this feature is always perceived with a Bang.
    3. Advertising.
For a novice photographer advertising is a key factor for successful work, and for the “old man” actually too, but the funds for it, as a rule, at the beginning of a career, simply no or very little. And it helps the rule - “a little everywhere”. It is not necessary to spend money on various pro-accounts, especially now who do not poke, be sure to get on some pro or top specialist, everyone loves to praise himself. What is actually correct, why not show the potential client all that you can. But you can advertise yourself on free sites. And a great solution here is to register and publish your ads wherever possible. This is a common sales funnel, the more customers you offer, the more you sell.
Of course, it takes a lot of time, because it is necessary not only to create your own pages, but also to lead them, communicate with subscribers, answer questions and comments, and from time to time to make new posts and publications, so as not to go into oblivion. Plus, the more and more you will spread your work and suggestions, the higher will be the confidence of customers in you as a sought-after and reliable specialist in the photo industry. In the beginning it will take a lot of time, but later it will gradually become a systematic and moderate occupation, the main thing is not to be afraid at the beginning of a career and not to give up.
    4. Always try.
Even if you understand that you have made a very big discount, or even work for free on the action, for a friend or relatives, always do the work responsibly! This is your face, your product. Not onlinewhite and don't be lazy, better tighten work time, but make it good. For many, this point is obvious, but believe me, every photographer during his work there is such a temptation, do not succumb to it, then you will always be in demand.
    5. Constantly learn.
Develop and do not get hung up on the same thing. Improve your services, be interested in new products in this area, look at the works of popular and expensive photographers and do not hesitate to borrow their ideas. There's a great formula: stranger creative + another foreign creativity = your creativity. Use it. Your development will give confidence.
Following these tips you can easily join the world of photo services business, and very soon you will begin to understand what you need to add to these rules for successful work.
